The Eau Claire Hmong New Year is one of the largest and most meaningful cultural celebrations in the Chippewa Valley. Each year, it brings together thousands of individuals and families—not only from the Hmong community, but from across Eau Claire and surrounding areas—to celebrate culture, connection, and shared community.

The event continues to grow each year. Nearly 6,000 attendees participated in the 2025 celebration, representing communities from across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and beyond.
This Festive occasion allows us to come together as a community, reconnect with our traditions, and share our vibrant culture with friends and neighbors.
Join us as we ring in the Eau Claire Hmong New Year at the Sonnentag Center in Eau Claire, WI on October 17-18, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM We celebrate with festivities and food! From arts & crafts vendors to entertainment and friendly competitions, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
