One of the most empowering and engaging performances at Hmong New Years across the nation, Hmong dance competitions continues to inspire and energize our community. This year, we invite teams from near and far to compete, connect, and celebrate!

Who Can Apply?
We welcome teams with the following ages:
- All Star Elite Division (Average age 15 and older)
- Rising Star Division (Average age 11–14)
- Mini-Star Division (Average age 10 and younger)
We require a minimum for each division.

Confirmation & Registration Fee
Confirmation & Registration fee link will be emailed starting July 30th @ 6:00 pm CST to the email on registration form. Spots will be based on payment received via timestamp on payment system.
FAQs
1. How do we register for the competition?
Teams must complete the online registration form and submit the required payment. Spots are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis once payment is received.
2. How are divisions determined?
Divisions are based on the team’s average age. Teams may compete in their division or move up, but not down. Age verification will be required during registration
3. Can a team compete in more than one division?
No. Each team may only compete in one division.
4. What is the deadline to register?
The final registration deadline is September 5, 2025. However, spaces are limited and may fill up before this date.
5. What happens if our division does not meet the minimum number of teams?
If a division does not meet the minimum team requirement, prize payouts may be adjusted accordingly. Teams will be notified in advance.
6. How will we know if our team has secured a spot?
A confirmation email will be sent within 24- 48 hours of receiving your payment. This email will include details about the event, mandatory meeting dates, and additional instructions.
7. Is attendance at the Coaches Meeting mandatory?
Yes, this meeting is an opportunity to ask questions and ensure all teams are prepared for the event.
8. What happens if a team submits false age information?
Any team found to have submitted false age information will be disqualified from the competition.
9. Are liability forms required?
Yes. All dancers must sign a liability form, and each team must submit all forms by September 19, 2025. Dancers without a completed form will not be allowed to compete.

10. What is the refund policy?
Registration fees are non-refundable.
